Adele has established herself as a dynamic force in the realm of digital strategy and content innovation. Her career began with the co-founding of yMedia, a pioneering social enterprise in New Zealand. This award-winning venture was her first foray into the world of early-stage startups, igniting her interest in storytelling and communications.

Her collaborative efforts with Xero founder Rod Drury on a white paper and the creation of an e-book for a national government agency further honed her skills. Moving to London, she then developed and executed a digital strategy in partnership with President Obama’s digital agency, involving the United Nations HQ in Manhattan. This international experience underscored her global strategic perspective and her ability to navigate complex digital landscapes.

At Escape the City (Esc), Adele contributed significantly to the Startup MBA program alongside Rob Fitzpatrick. This role amplified her engagement in the London startup ecosystem, as evidenced by her involvement in General Assembly's London launch. Her tenure at Esc also catalysed her writing career, culminating in multiple publications on entrepreneurial career development and her regular contributions to the Huffington Post.

In her role within a Virgin startup, Adele crafted and implemented brand messaging and purpose, working directly with the Virgin Global Marketing Director. At Lexoo, she managed content strategy and production, further solidifying her reputation as a versatile and strategic content expert.

Joining Makers as a content producer, Adele quickly ascended to lead their content and communications function. Her initiative to co-found the UK's inaugural Women in Software Power List is a testament to her commitment to diversity and excellence in the tech industry.
